Bring your car in for a good cleaning inside and out. The sooner the better.
If you think pollen bothers you, you should see what it can do to your car. And it's a lot worse than turning it green. Pollen's microscopic thorns are both abrasive and acidic, which cause premature fading and rust. And pollen in the cabin settles in cracks, which damages the interior over time.
- Dusting it off doesn't help. It causes surface scratches.
- Rain doesn't wash it off. Water actually activates the acids.
- Once pollen is inside the car, you're exposed to it every time you drive.
